Description
A distinguished and aspirational Vermentino, Sole di Sardegna Vermentino di Gallura DOCG Superiore is crafted from carefully selected old-vine grapes (40+ years old).
Hand-harvested and destemmed immediately to ensure optimal fruit quality, the grapes undergo gentle fermentation with specific varietal yeasts. The wine then matures for six months in tanks and cherry wood Tonneau barrels, followed by one year of bottle aging to develop its depth and complexity.
With a straw yellow color and greenish reflections, it reveals floral and citrusy aromas, accented by hints of oleander, honey, and eucalyptus. The palate is fresh, crisp, and dry, with a pleasant savouriness and lingering persistence.
