Description
Made from hand-harvested Glera grapes grown on the hillside Valdobbiadene, 250–350 meters above sea level, Primario Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Extra Dry DOCG is a delicate and fragrant sparkling wine.
The vines flourish on sea sandstone and clay-rich soils, which give the fruit beautiful natural acidity and vivid smells.
Fermentation takes place under controlled temperature of 15–18°C following mild pressing and static decantation, three months of aging on fine lees. Lasting roughly forty days, the secondary fermentation uses the Charmat Method to produce a harmonic and finely textured Prosecco.
It gives flowery fragrances, ripe pear, green apple, and citrus with a beautiful straw yellow hue and fine perlage. The palate is fresh and smooth, with balanced acidity and a refined sweetness that produces a residual, fruity finish.
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes great with shellfish, light meats, and delicate cheeses, making it a flexible and refined choice for any occasion.
