Description
Cirò DOC Rosso Classico is a strong and refined red wine made from Gaglioppo, the signature grape of Calabria. Grown in the Timpa Bianca area of Cirò Marina, its bold character and traditional soul are shaped by white clay soils and a sun-drenched Mediterranean climate.
The wine preserves its varietal freshness through traditional maceration (8–12 days), soft pressing, and aging in steel, with a brief barrique refinement for added balance and depth. After bottle aging at controlled temperatures, it fully expresses its southern Italian identity.
In the glass, it shows a striking ruby red color, with elegant, subtly ethereal aromas. On the palate, it’s warm and full, with a savory, well-structured body and a long, satisfying finish.
A true reflection of Calabria’s winemaking legacy, Cirò Rosso Classico is versatile and food-friendly, pairing beautifully with roasts, red meats, game, and medium-aged cheeses.
